Elsa Alico Alphess ; 3.5 Years ; Air Wolf Words ; 351, Notes ; n/a, Tags; QolivaIt hadn't been long since the after the battle had taken place. Now, the packs had been left in tiny numbers, no more than 5 each, and the newest wolves in charge. Most pups and apprentices hadn't survived the winter, and now the packs were weaker than they had ever been. Elsa herself had yet to meet Qolivia, the leader of the Zylanic pack. She was younger than Elsa, and had some kind of issue with her brain from the war. It was now time for the meeting, and Elsa planned to fill her in on all the horrible details. Padding into the cave that they considered the Royal Temple, she smiled at the warm spring and it's welcoming waterfall. This place was always peaceful, wolves used to come here all the time.
It tugged at the winged wolves heart to know that everything had been taken away so easily, but, she had to fix it. It was in her best nature and she knew that she could handle it if she worked hard enough. Choosing a nice spot by the warm spring, she could feel it's splatters of water dabbing against her fur. Right now, her wings were laid neatly on her body, making it hard to tell they were anything more than oddly shaped places of fur. Her golden eyes skimmed the area, her tail wrapped neatly around her paws. Now, all she had to do was wait for Qolivia to arrive. To be a bit honest, Elsa was nervous. She had never met this she wolf before, and if they didn't get along, it could be the end of the packs.
They all needed time to heal, and if they didn't get it, they risked extinction. Her paws kneaded awkwardly on the stone ground. It felt foreign to be away from her gentle, pack lands where she called home. The weight of responsibility was heavy on her shoulders, and she didn't want to have to deal with it so quickly. But, it must be done, for the sake of the packs and hopefully, their many generations to come. TEMPLATE BY ELIZA @ Delusional & SP

Qoliva's pads, covered in the fimilar moss of her body, moved over her element swiftly.
Ah, The Temple. She had been here once before, She could remember that much. But when? Pff, Never ask her when. She can never supply an answer. She could just remember it was nice, and in a cave. Near a waterfall and a meadow. Who was she meeting again? Ah! The other Alphess, A Elsa. She can recall seeing her high above the earth, out of her reach. As with all air wolves, but they can never experience the embrace of the earth. No, They'll never understand how it feels to move the very thing you stand on with the simplest of flicks.
Sniff sniff. . .
Ah! Water! The sound of the soft trickle and splashing of the waterfall gives her the feedback she needed. She knows where shes going! She speeds up, her ears pinned to her head slightly as she moved, so much easier really. And a force of habit, from digging really. Was there another reason for that? Ah, Let's not get remembering. It always hurt her head. She didn't really want a migraine while talking to a new wolf, it would make it overly difficult. Could hurt her a bit, More than a bit really.
Coming to a slow halt she looks around the area, panting softly. She could see the cave, and moves towards it with her panting slowing down.
Entering within the cave she peered around, padding forwards. She sniffs at the air softly, picking up the scent of the forementioned Elsa. She moved forwards, her moss covered paws creating soft almost clicking sounds as she moved. As they always did on the surface of the cool earthy stone. She wanted to just dig into the earth now, but that would be rude. She had a meeting here, and she should get it underway. . . What was it about again?
"Hello? Else? Er. . . Elsa."

Elsa Alico Alphess ; 3.5 Years ; Air Wolf Words ; 465, Notes ; n/a, Tags; QolivaIt wasn't long before the smell of another wolf filled her nose. The air wolf lifted her head and sniffed lightly at the air. It was an earthy smell, unfamiliar, but she had heard rumors of Qolivia being an earth wolf, so this basically just confirmed it. Soon enough, the scuffing of pads came from the other direction and another wolf stood in her presence. Elsa's ears perked on her head and she dipped her head politely to the wolf before her. She was a strange looking one. Even with the dim light, she could make out her brown fur color, but the thing that interested her more was the moss. It grew from around Qolivia's pads, all the way up her paws to the top of her forearms. But, that wasn't the strangest. There were roots growing out of the moss and wrapping around the legs as though entwined in such a strange way.
Pinning her ears back for a moment, she felt lost in the wolves bright green gaze. She had seen earth wolves before, but none with such unique, yet strange markings. "You look...weird." She stated, her voice flat and almost confused. Quickly though, she shook her head and regained her dominance. It was strange for such a young wolf to carry so much responsibility. She often lost her focus and longed to act like a pup again. But, she knew she couldn't. The fate of the pack rested heavily on her shoulders. "Excuse me." She stated as though to clear out her awkward statement. "Yes, I'm Elsa. I assume you are Qolivia, yes?" Now her voice was formal and cautious. All playful, confused pup-like Elsa was gone and she now stood with the dominance of an Alpha. She was no longer relaxed, but tense and alert, ready for just about anything.
"So, I guess we are here to talk about the lives of the pack.." She stated awkwardly, still not sure of what she was supposed to be doing. "Well, it sucks." She spat with a flick of her ear. "The wolves are weak, their elements lacking power from the battle. Most are terrified and suffering from nightmares and diseases I can't even imagine. Yet, we don't have a healer to help us anymore." Her golden eyes glazed over and she shook her head sadly. "We're dying." She finished and hung her head, once again looking like the lost, lonely pup she basically was. The pressure of being a leader was so heavy for such a young she wolf, and there was no back up to guide her in what she needed to do. Her silence told Qolivia that it was her turn to speak, and she found herself wondering if conditions were just as bad over in Zylanic territory. TEMPLATE BY ELIZA @ Delusional & SP

I look weird?
This made Qoliva furrow her brow in confusion, and look over herself. Chest, No, Muzzle, nope. . . Oh! Her paws! She was intune with her element, and often travled under the earth for comfort. Perhaps some of the minerals began to stay in her pelt, or maybe she just managed to get some moss on her. She didn't know, She just knew that she could grow plants in her flesh, and they didn't hurt or slow her down.
"Oh, These? Don't mind them, Just some moss and roots. They're kinda nice to have. Like another layer of flesh!"
She then nods, hearing her name. Yes, She was Qoliva. But she still couldn't think she was the alphess of a pack. . . It was almost scary. The young wolves leading packs. Ones where they were recovering from some war. . . Maybe that was that weird memory she had. Hearing they suck she snickers, interjecting quickly.
"You don't say?"
As she went on her face lost the amused expression as she lowered her head softly, then more And she sighs softly, staring at the floor as she finishes. She closes her eyes, thinking. . . While her memory isn't the best, she can certainly try to be a good leader, and friend. She may need this other alphess in times of distress. She begins speaking, but it lost the tone of a small amused pup, it instead took on the authority and force behind that of an experienced alpha.
"Yes, We are in shambles, yes, we are in trouble. But we cannot succumb to the odds. While the healing training needs to be undergone by wolves who wish to take on the practice, and elemental training can simply be learnt by practice, we can supply our knowledge and pool it into a learning project. Nightmares, well, We just underwent something awful, Something I cannot for the life of me remember. Nightmares will occur, and they may never leave. But we can certainly stick together to help others through them. We may be cracked, But we aren't broken quite yet, right?"

Elsa Alico Alphess ; 3.5 Years ; Air Wolf Words ; 353, Notes ; n/a, Tags; QolivaShe was right. That really clicked into the feathered wolves mind. Even though they were still different, they were also so alike. A small nod from her muzzle was what she gave the moss covered wolf in response, her mind fogged with the reminder of the war and all the hell it had caused throughout the lands. Her ears were leaned gently back against her head. Sometimes, Elsa had to tell it to shut up. She thought so much into the past it almost drove her, and it was dangerous. Infact, really dangerous. It could cloud her judgement, make her do stupid things, but maybe Qolivia was right. They sure were beat up, but they weren't broken. And no matter what it took out of her, Elsa would not let the pack break while she was living.
"You're right." She barked, her head lifting from the sagging position it had taken. She needed to stop pitying herself and be the Alpha she was supposed to be. Though she wasn't much, she was all this pack had, and if she were to fall, they would most likely fall with her. But a sudden thought made her back away from the so called friendly Alphess. They were enemies, weren't they? Lifting her lips, she backed away until her body was pressed against the corner of the wall and she couldn't go any further. "Aren't we enemies?" She snarled, her tail curling into an arch and her white and gray feathered wings began to sprout from her shoulders.
It was like a shield for her defense. They protected and and were stronger than her claws and fangs mixed together. Soon enough ,they were in full stretch, coating her body was like armor. Only her face peered out from behind them, her golden eyes hard with both anger and fright. I have no idea what I'm doing, but why should I trust the rival? She asked herself and lifted her lips back into a snarl. "Why should I trust you?" She growled, her sharp gray claws digging into the stone ground beneath her, leaving large, jagged marks. She smiled softly, hearing she was right, and nodded, then, her demanor changed. She stepped back, and took out a pair of wings. Qoliva stepped back, the earth just beneath her feet raising softly in a reaction. The earth beneath her right paw lifting ever so slightly, just enough to change, but not enough to be too noticable. She then saw the other alphesses eyes peek through, and tried to keep from laughing. It looked a bit funny to her, only the gold eyes peeking out from behind the white fluff. But she quickly composed herself.
The rock beneath her slide into place, and she looked over the other Alphess. And began to speak, in a softer tone than before.
"Listen, I don't care if we are. Right now, We don't have the luxury of choosing to be enemies or friends. We need to work together, just until we have more wolves. We can't take a chance to have enemies of the only other manipulators around. If I meant to hurt you I would have, I could have just sealed the entrance to the cave with earth and you would have never been able to escape. Instead I came in and spoke with you, Okay? I'm not your enemy, I swear. I hope that will go for you too, right?"
They could NOT afford to fight one another. Like Elsa said, the packs were dying, and as Qoliva said herself, thye needed to work together in order to survive. Fighting, at least right now, was not an option. Maybe in the future they can have the luck to be able to decide if they can make friends or enemies. But well, Wolves are dying, relations need to be well. At least, for now. Just until the packs are on their feet's, but Qoliva doesn't want it to end there. She wants the packs to be friends. It would mean less war, and after the one they just finished, well, they can't afford it.
